Antique Elgin Vacuum Casting Appliance Dental Machine

Dental casting machine for making crowns, bridges, plates and splints. Can be used with gold, silver, aluminum and acolyte. The machine was made by The Ransom Randolph Co. of Toledo, Ohio. They started being made in 1890. I found advertisements dating from 1908-1914 with the original price of the machine $35. They were the best available on the market at the time. The original set up included the iron casting tank containing an exhaust pump. Attached to the tank are a gauge and an arm with 2 stop cocks and 2 brackets of different sizes.
