Goebel Hummel Latest News #184 TMK 3

M.I. Hummel porcelain bisque figurine of a little boy sitting on a stool reading the newspaper wearing his father's slippers. The newspaper is "Munchener Presse". He stands 5 1/4" tall. He still has his paper label on the front of the base, "Latest News". The bottom is marked with trademark number 3, a stylized bee in a V with W. Germany below it. This mark was used from 1960 to 1972. Also impressed on the bottom is 184. The glaze is crazed. There is a chip on the bottom base ring.
